I went to a Casting Crowns a few years ago when they came out with Thrive. They talked about how we are like a tree, we need to grow our roots in God’s word before we reach out our branches to people.
If we don’t grow our Roots in God’s word then when people start questioning us we fall over because we don’t have a good root system. And I love this analogy.
You can’t help people if you don’t know God’s word. So grow your roots in God’s word so you can reach out to people.
